A Crowned Crest, Stitched in Gold

A heavyweight crewneck sweatshirt carrying the crowned Shir-o-Khorshid in gold embroidery, above the letters MIGA worked in the three colours of the Iranian flag, with the phrase Make Iran Great Again set beneath in charcoal.

The crest is genuinely stitched rather than printed — raised thread with real directional sheen, which is why it catches light differently as you move.

The Iranian tricolour was formalised in the early twentieth century, and the order of green, white and red has stayed fixed through every change of state since. Only the emblem at the centre has moved. Putting the crowned Lion and Sun above tricolour lettering places two different eras of that flag in the same composition.

The Design Vision

• Embroidered crest: The crowned lion with its sword and the rayed sun behind, rendered in high-density gold thread. The raised surface is the point — it reads as an applied badge rather than a graphic.

• Tricolour lettering: The four letters carry green, white and red inside the letterforms themselves, with a heavy textured face that borrows from vintage appliqué lettering.

• The line underneath: The full phrase sits below in muted charcoal, deliberately lower in contrast so the crest and the acronym land first.

• Weight to carry it: An 8 oz blend body, chosen because embroidery this dense needs a fabric with enough structure to hold it flat.

Stitched, not printed. It holds up to being looked at closely.
