Green Tracksuit, Lowrider, Lemon Malt

A lightweight tee that drops an unmistakably Iranian detail into an unmistakably Californian scene, and lets the mismatch do the work.

The illustration is done in flat cinematic colour with a hand-drawn finish — closer to a rented poster than a print. Everything about the composition says early-2000s suburban block until you look at what he's holding.

The Design Vision

• The figure: Front and centre, in green, squared up in a low-slung residential street. The stance is doing all the characterisation — no expression needed.

• The lowrider: Parked behind him with the ride height and lines of the era. It sets the geography before you've read anything else in the frame.

• The bottle: A lemon malt in his hand — the non-alcoholic staple of every Iranian corner shop, kebab counter and family fridge. It's the detail that relocates the whole picture, and the only thing in it that isn't from somewhere else.

• Poster-flat colour: Bold blocked tones with hand-illustrated edges, built to read at distance rather than reward close inspection.

The block is borrowed. The bottle isn't.
